Subject:
A) Analyse entrepreneurial environment of women in science, engineering and IT technology in Europe.
Approach:
1. Each partner gets personal perspective from three entrepreneurs (Personal story, what happen on the way?)
Questions to ask:
- In you experience what are the main obstacles for starting up a company?
- How did you overcome these obstacles? Are there any subjection?
- What would you advice new entrepreneurs?
- What would you focus on if you were designing a course for entrepreneurs?
2. Add the results from survey among the students in technical studies, if they exist. About if they are willing to found a company?
B) Analyse entrepreneurial gender discrimination, the main barriers preventing women to start their own business.
Approach:
Halldora will look through the researchers used to build arguments in the application.
C) Reviewing other initiatives aiming at encouraging women entrepreneurship excluding research.
Approach:
Each partner looks at 3 initiatives which could add value for our project and present them at next meeting. A description and analyse of the initiatives will be placed on shared website in a “Wikipedia-way” (1pages each), Deadline: March 24th 2011 and after that make changes.
Hannes Högni will recommend a website which is suitable for this use.
D) What special training and support does this target group need that is different to others? The definition of our target group is: Women with education or experience in IT, engineering and science, over 18 years old.
Approach:
Kristine are going to look into reaches on the topic and present it on next meeting.

a) Review the training and support that this target group needs.
b) Writing the first draft of the training initiative.
c) Plan for testing.
e) Do a part of the initiative at the universities
