Alda Sigurðardóttir is a partner at Vendum. Before that, she worked as an Executive Assistant to the Rector of RU. Before that, she worked at the marketing department at RU first as a PR manager in 2006 and then as the head of Communications. She worked as Business Manager at SJA Ltd. for one year and as Training Manager at VR Trade Union for more than five years. She was a lecturer in the School of Business at the University of Iceland from 2000-2003. Alda has comprehensive experience in committee and board work and, for example, served as the Chairman of Mennt which is a co-operative forum of industry and schools, sat on the governing body of Borgarholtsskóli – Comprehensive Secondary School for four years, on the board of the Primary Health Care of the Capital Area in 2002, and was an alternate on the board of Reykjavik Energy in the same year. During her studies, Alda served on the Student Board of the University of Iceland and on the board of the International Association for Political Science Students. Alda has a B.A. in Political Science with a minor degree in Industrial Sociology from the University of Iceland.
Arnar Agnarsson works as a Training Captain at Air Atlanta Icelandic. For the past 10 years, he has managed crew training for all of the larger Icelandic airlines, in addition to doing a lot of teaching in Europe and lecturing on multi crew co-operation at conferences. Arnar has worked for the Icelandic Civil Aviation Administration as an assessor evaluating the effectiveness of co-operation and maximising the results of co-operation. He has experience in the training of various groups which require very disciplined work methods and where there is a high level of stress. The Icelandic Coast Guard makes use of this training along with doctors and other professions which work under challenging conditions where much depends on disciplined work methods and flawless action, and where mistakes can occur under great stress. Arnar has extensive experience in assessing the ability of the human factor in professional work and finding ways to maximise results.
Bergþóra Ólafsdóttir has a Master's degree in Human Resource Management and a BSc in International
Marketing. Bergþóra has worked as the Human Resource Manager at Betware since 2007. Before that, she worked in management at Síminn and Samskip. She has experience in, for example, sales and marketing. Bergþóra currently makes use of executive coaching within her company.
Elísabet Helgadóttir has an MA in Human Resource Management from EADA Business School in Barcelona, a BA in Psychology from the University of Iceland. Elísabet currently works as the Training Manager at Íslandsbanki where she has worked on human resource issues for the past 3 years. Her main tasks in the area of human resources concern education and training, manager development, executive coaching, and recruitment. Earlier, Elísabet worked at Capacent as a consultant in the areas of market analysis and market research.
Erla Andrea Pétursdóttir is a business and software consultant at Applicon. In recent years, she has worked with some of the largest companies in Iceland on redesigning business processes, implementing software solutions (SAP), instruction, and business advice. In addition, she has worked in product management, project management, and public relations. Before Erla started working at Applicon, she worked at the United Life Insurance Company Samlíf as Department Manager of Trade Services. As a consultant and manager, she has acquired extensive experience in change management and other factors which concern effective communication. Erla has a BSc in Business Administration from Reykjavik University.
Guðrún Lind Halldórsdóttir has completed an MBA from Reykjavik University, studies in Human Resource
Management from the Institute of Continuing Education at the University of Iceland, and a BA in Psychology from the University of Iceland. Guðrún Lind works as the Human Resource Manager in Human Resources & Organisational Development at the parent company of Actavis Group. Among the main projects are strategy, participation in development and implementation of HR processes for the enterprise group, recruitment, manager development, as well as advice and support for the managers and Personnel Director of the company. Guðrún Lind began work at Actavis in 2002 as the Recruitment Manager of the company in Iceland.
Hildur Jakobína Gísladóttir works as Director of the Department of Family Services in the Municipal of Kópavogur. She has a BA in Psychology and an MBA from Reykjavik University.

Íris Ösp Bergþórsdóttir has an MSc in Strategic Management from the University of Iceland and a BA in
Psychology from the same university. Íris works as a Human Resource Consultant at Íslandsbanki with an emphasis on performance management, staff development, coaching, and team empowerment, in addition to handling workplace assessments. Before that, Íris worked in teaching and consultancy.
Kristinn Tryggvi Gunnarsson is a management consultant and partner at Expectus, an executive coach at the Open University, and a lecturer in the RU School of Business. He is educated in business administration and completed a BS degree in Strategic Management from the University of North Carolina and an MBA from the University of Georgia. Kristinn has comprehensive management experience; he worked for seven years at Íslandsbanki bank, the majority of the time as a branch manager, and for four years at SPRON as the General Manager of Corporate Finance and later Marketing. In 2002, after 11 years in the banking sector, he turned to the field of consultancy and for six years, Kristinn worked at Capacent; first as a consultant, later as the Director of Consulting, and the last two years as the Managing Director of Capacent Iceland. Kristinn has worked with numerous of the 300 largest companies in Iceland on strategy as well as marketing and services. He has extensive experience in facilitation, executive coaching, and management training, and in addition to certification from FranklinCovey, he has completed training at Project Adventure, Corporate Lifecycles Inc., Lego Serious Play, Blue Ocean Strategy, Corporate Coach University, and SHL.
Sigrún Þorleifsdóttir works as an executive coach with leaders and managers who wish to develop professionally, eliminate obstacles, and reach outstanding results. Sigrún has completed an MSc in Strategic Management from the University of Iceland and a BSc in Operation Management from Bifröst University. Sigrún worked as a manager for 20 years at, for example, Eimskip and SH/Icelandic. She has extensive management experience in international companies, strategy, goal setting, planning, change management, and marketing and development. As a manager, she knows from personal experience the countless challenges which managers face in their work and personal life. Sigrún has specialised in effective communication between managers and staff members.
Sigurður Ólafsson completed a degree in Business Administration from the University of Iceland, and then went to the Netherlands where he completed an MBA from the Rotterdam School of Management, Erasmus University. Sigurður has wide-ranging experience in human resource management and strategic management. Sigurður furthermore has experience in social affairs, for example, through Kópavogur Scout Rescue Troop, Reykjavik Football Club (KR), and the Association of Personnel Managers in Iceland. Sigurður has participated in work under the auspices of SA-Confederation of Icelandic Employers, for example, on the review board for unemployment benefits, a workgroup for occupational education in industry, among others. Sigurður has also taken part in the operations of the Icelandic Society of Business and Economics Professionals (FVH) where last year, he served on a selection committee for the knowledge company of the year. Sigurður currently works as the Personnel Manager at Isavia.
Steinunn Hall completed a BSc in Business Administration from Reykjavik University in 2008 and an MSc
in Strategic Management from the University of Iceland in June 2010. Steinunn has extensive professional experience, for example, in management work, project management, management consulting, and accounting. Steinunn Hall currently works independently as an executive coach. She is also the chairman of a professional group on executive coaching at the Icelandic management association Stjórnvísi, in addition to having served on the salaries committee of the Icelandic Society of Business and Economics Professionals (FVH) since 2008.
Svanlaug Jóhannsdóttir works as a Project Manager at Klak-Innovation Centre. Svanlaug has a BSc in Business Administration and has extensive experience working with entrepreneurs and managing creative people. She furthermore has wide-ranging experience in project management and marketing, both in her own company and others. She is fluent in English and Spanish.
Unnur Valborg Hilmarsdóttir has 15 years of experience in operations and management, for example, as the Assistant General Manager at Hreyfing fitness and General Manager of Dale Carnegie inIceland. For the past five years, she has worked for Dale Carnegie holding seminars in Iceland and abroad, as well as working with the managers of some of the largest companies in Iceland. Unnur has extensive training certifications for Dale Carnegie seminars and is furthermore a Master Trainer for Dale Carnegie & Associates, with certification to train coaches all over the world. Unnur has a B.Ed. from the Icelandic Teachers' Training College and a Diploma in Business and Operation Management from the Institute of Continuing Education at the University of Iceland. Unnur works independently in consulting, facilitation, and executive coaching and also writes articles on business books in Frjáls Verslun Magazine.
