Iceland is known for its breathtaking views as well as its geothermal engineering and nightlife. The country stretches for 103,000 square kilometres (40,000 square miles) and has a population of 307,000, 80% of whom live in the capital city, Reykjavík. Reykjavík University is the only private university in Iceland and one of the country's leading post-secondary institutions.

Reykjavík has much to offer, from cosy coffee shops and museums' to cutting edge fashion and a riveting nightlife. Iceland's relatively small size also makes it easy to travel around the country and get a taste of the nation's beauty and famous sites, including geothermal hot springs, raging waterfalls, and stunning mountains.
