The RU Open University has designed several programs for specific segments of the business community.
We welcome participants from around the world in our joint excursion to excellence through powerful programs for executives, specialists and students outside traditional undergraduate, graduate and postgraduate programs.
The RU Open University serves individuals and the business community with a diverse range of courses featuring cutting-edge knowledge from Iceland and abroad in entertaining and enlightening events.
Training for Universities' Didactic and Administrative Staff
Reykjavík University presents a brief description of courses for didactic and administrative staff in Universities.
The course's chief purpose is to strengthen participants' professional competences and to broaden their horizon by exploring how RU approaches these issues. It also encourages critical discussion about proficient methods of work in universities.
After numerous requests the Open University has set up additional courses to further diversify and build on strengthening personal development and leadership skills.
Courses March 2012
All courses are 5 days long and consist of 20 hours teaching and 12 hours culture and excursion of Iceland's nature.
Following courses will be offered:

- University Didactics and Team Building
- English for university lecturers
