University Didactics and Team Building
Course description
The aim of the course is to teach participants to adapt methods in their teaching that support and encourage learning process of its students. Furthermore to enhance participant's team building and leadership skills with emphasize on communication and motivation.
The University didactics will focus on the following topics; teacher subjective theories, learning theoris, the process of writing
good learning outcomes, active and collaborative teaching methods: assessment methods that encourage learning and learning management systems as well as using IT in teaching.
Participants will learn to create their own wall of personal theory in teaching, to be able to define the role that learning management plays in the university environment and to define how different user groups use learning management system. In the learning theories module, particpiants will discuss the learning theories underlying their approaches to teaching and be able to write learning outcomes for their courses/modules.
In the part of active learning, participants will be able to demonstrate ability to use different teaching methods that enhances their teaching style and the preferred learning outcomes and finally in the formative assessment session participants should be able reflect upon own assessment practice as well as to demonstrate examples of how that practice supports learning.
In the part of Team Building part offers a series of practical exercises which develop the skills of team building,leadership, communication and motivating people, and helps participants to apply the fruits of their learning to the practical issues of relationships with employees within groups.

Participants involved in Team Building training will:
- Be well-prepared for team building knowing the theory of group roles and understand how to build an effective team due to the specific business situation.
- Understand the role of the effective leader of the team.
- Assess their own natural group role, and identify areas for development and improvement.
Learn how to make decisions to involve team members to a lesser or greater degree, depending on the circumstances of each situation. - Learn how to communicate, delegate, and follow through effectively, to help the team deliver business results and develop group capacities and strengths.
- Be able to understand how communication breaks down and how to fix it.
- Have much better ability to motivate people and to have greater auto motivation.
Upon competition of the course, participants should have adapted and enhanced skill and methods for quality teaching and support learning process of its students.
